NLIHC Tenant Leader Session

For more than 20 years, NLIHC has offered a special pre-event session designed for tenants who attend the Annual Housing Policy Forum. Attendees will engage with and learn from other tenant advocates and affordable housing experts about federal housing policy and how current policies are impacting tenants and their communities. The session also provides participants opportunities to connect with other leaders to continue building upon the housing justice movement. Due to the content of the Tenant Leader Session, we kindly ask registrants to only register for this session if you are a tenant/resident leader or if you are closely working with tenant/resident leaders. Capitol Hill Day

Friday, March 13 | 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Capitol Hill Day gives advocates the opportunity to meet with their members of Congress to urge them to oppose funding cuts to affordable housing and homelessness programs, expand resources for vital programs, advance anti-racist policies, and support legislation that would improve the lives of millions of low-income people.

Capitol Hill Day will be held at the Lutheran Church for the Reformation at 212 East Capitol Street, NE, Washington, DC 20003.

2026 NLIHC Leadership Awards Reception

Thursday, March 12 | 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The NLIHC Housing Leadership Awards celebrate and honor individual leaders and organizations for their outstanding contributions to affordable housing for those most in need.

2026 NLIHC Housing Policy Forum Registration Payment

How Can I Cancel My Registration?

Cancellation requests made by 11:59 P.M. ET on Friday, December 19, 2025 will incur a $75 cancellation fee for a general registration category and $10 for the low-income individual registration category. Requests made between Saturday, December 20, 2025 and Monday, January 5, 2026 by 11:59 P.M. will incur a $150 cancellation fee for general registrations and $25 for low-income individual registrations. Cancellations made on or after Tuesday, January 6, 2026 will receive no refund.

NOTE: Any registered name replacements or changes must be submitted to NLIHC by Monday, February 2 by 11:59 P.M.
